Chapter 1: When Mocha came here in September, she was the only one out of all the DMK kids who would squeeze thru the bars of a Midwest cage. She would also squeeze thru the bars of a ferret playpen. We searched and finally found a cage she could not escape from (after putting locks on the doors because she would get out that way). Little Mocha is a true Escape Artist.

Chapter 2: I had 5 ferrets waiting to be neutered/spayed (4 jills/1 hob). The girls were in heat and Drexel was in rut. I had no problem with Pandora, Xenia or Aurora during playtime messing with Drexel EXCEPT Mocha. We could never find her when her playtime was over BUT we found her twice IN Drexel’s cage. How she got in there is beyond me.

Chapter 3: Mocha had 11 babies on April Fools Day. Three did not survive so we are down to 8.

Daddy Drexel is a champagne.

West Michigan Ferret Connection

During the past year, it has been my pleasure and privilege to build and maintain this website for Dee Gage and the West Michigan Ferret Connection. We all know how much Dee has done to help ferrets and ferret owners alike. I need not elaborate. It is now my sad duty to post a heart breaking narrative about a young ferret named Diamond who was injured due to neglect.

Dee has done so much for our ferret community in this area, and now it's time for us to give something back. Dee is planning fund raising to help pay the enormous medical bills for Diamond. I generally stay in the "background" while maintaining this website, but I now feel obliged to ask people for donations to help Dee. Please contact her and give what you can.
